The impossible camera move

A lot of brands spend their energy trying to explain their product. Oakley x Meta did it in one “seamless”  camera move.

No CGI.. just a frozen moment with 4 clips stitched together that became the cheat code for the whole shot.

Here’s how: As Craig rides past camera, he holds position while the camera captures the scene from multiple angles around him. That frozen moment is the entire setup. Those angles get stitched into a parallax wraparound where the background shifts and Craig stays anchored… and what looked like one impossible move was built in pieces.

Then the shot pushes into the goggles and snaps to the POV inside the lens.

A way of showcasing the recording capabilities of the glasses, without saying it with copy or VO.

That single transition explains the recording feature of the glasses without having to explain.
